SOURCE: Pooled Human serum/plasma.

PRODUCT PRESENTATION: Supplied lyophilized from 0.02M NH₄HCO₃. May contain traces of buffer salts. The use of a buffered solution containing physiological levels of saline may aid complete dispersion of the product upon reconstitution.

SPECIFICATION: >98% Purity

ANALYSIS: Cellulose acetate electrophoresis shows a band with b ₁ electrophoretic mobility. Protein determination by the method of Lowry and Optical Density at 280nm SDS-PAGE shows one band only corresponding to a molecular weight of Approximately 45 kD (subunit) Identity confirmed by RID and testosterone binding studies.

STORAGE & STABILITY: To be stored 2 - 8° C.

VIRALS: Serum/plasma is donor tested and found negative for Anti HIV 1&2; Hepatitis B surface antigen and HCV antibodies by FDA approved methods.
