REAGENT:
PREPARATION: Prepared from suitable plasmaphorhesis individual donor. The isotype and light chain type of myeloma protein is determined by IEP. The estimated concentration of an individual Myeloma protein may vary considerably depending on the assay method used. Myeloma protein concentration is measured by Radial Immunodiffusion.
FORM: Plasma from human myeloma donor. Protein concentration of myeloma from 1 to 100 mg/ml. Preservative added 0.1 % E-Amino-Caproic Acid, 0.01% Benzamidine, 0.099% Sodium Azide.
CAUTION: This product contains 0.099% Sodium Azide and appropriate precautions should be taken. This human derived product has been tested and found negative at the donor level for HIV ½ and HCV antibody and Hepatitis B surface antigen. Full safety precautions should be observed for handling any human body fluid.
STORAGE AND STABILITY: This product can be stored at 2-8C for short term use and –20 C or below for longer term. Avoid repeated freeze thaws.USE: This product is for research use only in accordance with US regulations as an Analyte Specific reagent.
